STUDIO TWO PLAYS ABINGTON SUMMER CONCERT SERIES THIS SUNDAY
Studio Two, the Beatles Tribuite band, will once again play beneath the Catherine and Joseph Nisby Bandstand this Sunday. The replica moptops have played in Abington every summer since 2014, usually to a a big crowd. The show, as always, starts at 6 p.m. and is free to the public. The foodstand will be open and selling hotdogs, soda, and other munchies. Cream (the ice cream shop, not the rock band) will also be there selling scoops.

Conservation Commission, 6:30 p.m., Town Hall. Agenda includes electing a new board vice-chairman (Tim Warner resigned), an update on the Central Street bridge project, and discussions about 161 North Quincy Street and 0 Summer Street.
WEDNESDAY
Abington/Rockland Joint Board of Water Commissioners, 3:40 p.m., 366 Centre Ave., Rockland. Agenda includes discussion about a water bank, a water request from 0 Summer Street, a possible vote on water ban levels, and the monthly water usage report.
Open Space Committee, 5:30 p.m., Town Hall. Agenda includes discussions about proposed zoning changes at Union Point, a grant for an upcoming Open Space & Recreation Plan, signage for existing open space parcels, and additional parcels available for purchasing.
