The Abington compost site will be open this Saturday, May 23rd, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In addition to disposing of yard waste, Abington residents can also get rid of scrap metal for free. Scrap metal includes lawn mowers, snoiwblowers, washers, dryers, water heaters, grills bikes, and items that are at least 90 percent metal.
For a free, residents can dispose of larger, bulk items, such as mattresses and electronics. See the image below for a fee schedule. No cash accepted; please bring a check. Please also be sure to wear a face covering.
