TEAM: SOFTBALL (5-0 as of Apr. 19)
COACHES: Head Coach: Jenna Olem (4th year) Assts: Felicia Baptista (4th year)
PROGRAM SIZE: Carrying 17 players on varsity this year. No JV team.

KEY PLAYERS:
Captains: Kasie Bailey, Ava Dipietro, Calli Pineau, and Jess Blyth
-All four of them have 4 years of varsity experience, so I am counting on them to really show the younger players how to practice, how to come together as a team, and how to handle adversity.
Brenna Howley, Jr, is a 3-year starting SS who will take on a leadership role and quarterback a new infield this year as well.
Sophomore Elsie Testa has been on the varsity since 8th grade and it is her first year as the team’s ace. Outstanding competitor and desire to get better.
I have a lot of trust in catcher Kasie Bailey, thus giving her the keys this year to call the game from behind the plate.
Freshmen Maddie MacDonald (2B) and Malia goldberg (3B) are off to hot starts along with sophomore Riley Agnew (LF).
CIRCLED GAMES:
Middleboro and East Bridgewater are always strong competition for us to play in our league. We split with Norwell last year and play them twice this year (1 non-league).

We have Notre Dame twice again this year and they have one of the area’s top pitchers.
There’s not a game on the schedule I think we don’t have at least a chance of winning. But also, there’s a lot of games that could go the other way as well.
KEYS TO SUCCESS THIS SEASON:
— Doing the small things well will lead to big things.
— No one really thinks we are going to do much this year because of the caliber/experience of players we lost, so use that as fuel.
— Baserunning and speed will take us to new heights.
