More than 700 veterans are interred at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. And each grave is marked with a small American flag.
Scouts from Abington and Whitman spent time Saturday replacing those flags ahead of Monday’s Memorial Day observances.
Old flags will be disposed of proper flag retirement ceremony later.
