More than 140 Abington seniors will receive their diplomas Saturday during the town’s annual high school graduation ceremony.
The festivities kick off at 10 a.m. on the lawn in front of the High School.
It will start with the Pledge of Allegiance, led by class vice-president Emily Augusta. Colin McDermott will sing the Star Spangled Banner.
Class President Natalie Van Luling will give a welcoming address, followed by keynote speaker Zachary Carey, and featured student speaker Selena Wood.
Class Secretary Jillian Groom and Class Treasurer Travis Swanson will present the class gift, as well as gifts honoring Abington Public School retirees.
There will also be remarks by Schools Superintendent Peter Schafer, who is retiring at the end of the month, and Class Valedictorian Shan Alman, before diplomas are handed out.
